Tiny Puppy Rescued After Being Found Discarded In The Trash

Chattanooga, TN – A tiny puppy is safe and receiving care after being rescued from a trash bin where she had been cruelly thrown away. But the McKamey Animal Center wants to find the person(s) responsible for throwing her away.

According to the animal center, they received a call on Tuesday from a Chattanooga Gas employee reporting a small animal apparently discarded in a trash can at the former Hair Wonder Beauty Supply at 4772 Highway 58, Chattanooga.

Responding officers found a young puppy, wet and hypothermic, and too young to survive on her own.

Fortunately, this abandoned pup was found in the nick of time. After being rescued, her body temperature was stabilized, and she happily drank a bottle of milk. She is currently in a foster home and will remain there until she is old enough to be adopted.
